We went out on visits with Elder Curi and Elder Rodriquez.  They will probably be transfrerred Monday.  The transfers are every 6 weeks and the missionaries usually stay in an area 3-4 months.
Our neighbor was building rabbit cages and the guy brought him some for lunch.  He brought us a plate over to try.
We heard the grizzlies in Yellowstone were hungry.  We hoped this
pack of dogs was not as they passed us when we were walking home.
After the wedding on Tuesday the whole Rameriz family was able to get baptized together on Saturday.

The Ramerizes were married Tuesday.  People go to the city offices to get married.  It costs 100 soles less in Vista Allegre, kind of a suburb of Nazca, than it costs in Nazca.  The branch held a reception for them that night.
The street construction is different in Marcona than Nazca.  The streets are torn up, but the piles of sand have sea shells in them.  Also, the foundations of the houses are filled with seashells.  It's not hard to tell where their sand has come from!

Dad, I don't think this sheep tasts as good as the lamb you like!
People come from all over to go over the field after the potatoes are in the sacks.  Any potatoes
left on the ground are up for grabs.
The little tractor went through the field across from us with a digger and filled these sacks with potatoes
We used to just have to jump the ditches in the neighborhoods that were putting in water systems.  Now it's jumping ditches on almost every street we walk on.

There is no access to this street which is at the one end of the bridge, so the merchants have to carry their goods from the trucks to their stores.  The bridge was being built when we first got here and you had to drive across the river bed on paths to get to the church.  Then they finished the bridge and it was great.  Now we can't go across the bridge in the taxis again.
We stopped by to celebrate with Sari and her sister Carlita on her Bday.
You watch out for big trucks or tractors, but can still walk on the street as they are working into the night to finish the streets.
After we go to the market on Thursdays, our frig is full.  Strawberries were taken off the "Do not eat" list, which made Elder Jones happy as they are just coming into season.
The workers let me climb the ramp to get a picture of the top when they finished.
The empty congrete bags make a barrier to keep the wet cement from running.
The work goes a lot faster on this building than the one next to it with only the two workers.
The house across from us is completed on the first floor and they are putting in the floor or ceiling, whichever you want to call it.
