A good day to visit Tulin

When we saw all the activity, we were glad we had a visit to go to.  The neighbor has been sending his wife to ask to use our yard and house to work on theirs.  You can never turn a woman down!

Gift from Heaven

We traveled to Tulin to visit the members there.  After 16 years of waiting, the Torres Family finally got their wish fulfilled.  Hyrum, the new "little" one weighed in at over 10 pounds.  All the members came for a short message and then they fed us soup.  We felt bad they were feeding us because she just got out of the hospital.  She had to have the baby c-section, and they were lucky because a very good specialist was in this little hospital.

Nazca Lines Tower

President Alarcone and Hermana Kati, his wife, were our guides.  We stopped for a quick picture of the tower, where you can view the Nazca Lines.  We are lucky he is a taxi driver.  He rents his car for the day and then we "rent" him.  It works well because as branch President he needs to visit a lot of the same people we do.

New Toy

Elder Jones finally broke down and bought 110 feet of hose to water the garden.  After hauling 8 buckets of water for 14 months, he decided he could hook up the hose in the back, pull it through the back door, through the house and out the front door.  He's getting either lazy or smart!
