Life in Peru

We have been teaching our taxi driver (finally caught up with him) and he and his wife are very interested in the gospel.  They are the family Martinez.

Every time we go out to see them, we see this Quechua woman sitting in the sun on her doorstep.

We have a herd of sheep and goats that wander through the field across from our house.

Hi!
I finally caught up with Erin and got the address for this blog. I have thought of you often and am sorry I missed your farewell. I was out of town and did not get your message until it was over.

I cannot quite get my mind around the fact that you are half way around the world, I guess that is south around the world. Looking at these pictures makes it more real. The house looks better than I was afraid it might be and Erin says you are getting adjusted. So, it is hot right now? Cause it is currently snowing here, put down about 2 inches. I also had my roof at Island Park shoveled off last week.

So, how is the food, the grocery store, transportation and Spanish?

I envy you sense of adventure as this in its way is certainly an adventure.

Hope all is well,

Roslyn

Hi! You both look so good. I loved the pictures. Sorry to be so slow about getting to this. The snow is finally melting here and I am getting spring fever. Did you feel the earthquake. I was a little concerned, but know that Heavenly Father will take care of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, sue
